For organisations with multiple plants

Many plants.
A shared record.

Pairio is an AI assistant for industrial maintenance. In organisations running more than one plant, it structures each completed repair around the asset, its configuration and the conditions observed, so a record made at one site can be understood and assessed at another.

Same machine. Different installation.

  3. 03Judge what transfers

Can a repair documented at one plant be used at another?

Two plants can run the same machine and meet the same fault months apart without either knowing. Even when the earlier record is found, it often cannot be used: the same machine type carries different installed options, control versions and operating conditions at each site, and a report that leaves those out cannot be checked against the machine in front of you. Pairio structures each report around the asset, its configuration and the conditions observed, so a colleague at another site can judge what transfers and what does not.

What counts as a multi-site maintenance organisation?

“Multiple sites” describes how maintenance is distributed, not a headcount. In this guide, three markers define the context:

  • Maintenance is organised per site, with its own practices, suppliers and machine generations.
  • The same equipment type runs at more than one location, in different configurations.
  • There is no practical way to see what another plant has already worked on.

The obstacle is rarely distance. It is that a record written for the people who were there leaves out exactly the details another site would need.

What Pairio does

Record a completed job by voice
A spoken account plus photos becomes a structured report: problem, checks, actions and parts.
Search machine documentation
A question in plain language returns relevant information with references to the available documentation.
Search previous repairs
Search by symptom or asset to find relevant earlier maintenance reports.
Turn recorded work into instructions
A demonstration recorded with smart glasses becomes a reusable work instruction.

An illustrative example

Two plants recognise the same symptom.

Two plants run the same filling line. At the first, a technician traces repeated stops at the capping station to a worn drive coupling and records the repair, including the machine’s control version and the product format being run. Months later, the second plant meets the same symptom. Its technician reads the earlier report, sees that the control version and product format differ, checks the coupling under the local site procedure and finds comparable wear. Those differences remain visible in both records; the first repair offered a clue, not a diagnosis for the second plant.

Start with one machine type

  1. Choose one machine type that runs at two sites.

  2. Record one completed repair on it, including the configuration and conditions at that site.

  3. Ask a technician at the other site to say what in the report applies to their machine and what does not.

Questions multi-site organisations ask

Can one plant see what another plant has documented?

Yes. Cross-site search is what makes a second plant’s experience usable at all: the same machine, the same fault, already solved somewhere. Access rights decide who reads which site’s records, so the scope is set when the sites are connected.

Can we keep some records local to a single site?

Yes. Supplier agreements, local procedures and open investigations often need to stay inside one team. Which records a site shares and which stay local is part of how access is configured, not an exception that has to be argued for afterwards.

Does Pairio handle different machine generations and configurations across sites?

Yes. The report records the installed options, control version and operating conditions alongside the model, so a finding from another site arrives with the context needed to judge it. The same model name alone does not establish that a repair transfers.

How long does setup take?

Pairio builds on documents and maintenance history that already exist. No data migration or system replacement is required. One machine type across two sites is a workable first scope; cataloguing every plant is not a prerequisite. Document access and the systems involved set the pace.

Can technicians speak in their own language?

Yes. The technician speaks in the language they work in, and the report language is set separately from the input language. This matters when two plants document in different languages. Available language combinations are agreed before a trial.
